Carrabec H.S. announces Valedictorian, Salutatorian and top 10 seniors
Peter Campbell, Principal, of Carrabec High School, in North Anson, has announced honor parts for the Class of 2025 at Carrabec High School.
Valedictorian:
Desmond Robinson, Carrabec’s Valedictorian, is a student who is a role model in our school. With a grade point average of 101.60, he has completed eight honors classes, two AP courses, one early college course and four dual enrollment classes. Desmond is not only a great student, he also applies his strengths to the sports world as well, excelling in cross country and basketball. Robinson is also part of the Math Team, National Honor Society, Student Council, and was the first member of his class to be named Student of the Month. Desmond was also chosen for the MPA Principal’s Award. Desmond will be attending Bowdoin College for Environmental Science or Physics. Desmond is the son of Daniel and Stacey Robinson, of Solon.
Salutatorian:
Haley McFadyen, Carrabec’s Salutatorian, is a very bright and successful student. Haley has a grade point average of 100.14, completing eight honors classes, one AP course, and three dual enrollment classes. Haley is a member of the National Honor Society and has been active in CHS Performing Arts all four years. She also represented Carrabec High School in the State Finals Poetry Out Loud Competition. McFadyen will be attending the University of Maine at Farmington for Creative Writing. Haley is the daughter of James and Tanya McFadyen, of North Anson.
Top 10 Seniors
Mason Courtney, is the son of Mandy Abbott, of Anson, and Thomas Courtney, of Anson. Mason will be attending KVCC for their Electrical Technology Program.
Kobi Jennings is the son of Gloria and Seth Robertson, of Anson. Kobi will be attending college for Civil Engineering.
Dayna-Jean Labonte is the daughter of Jessica Schiaffino, of Solon, and James Labonte, of Solon. Dayna will be attending Thomas College for Health & Physical Education.
Haley McFadyen – Salutatorian, is the daughter of Tanya & James McFadyen, of North Anson. Haley will be attending UMF for Creative Writing.
Machaon Pierce, is the son of Audra Ingersoll, of Solon, and Merle Pierce, of Moscow. Machaon will be attending the University of Maine at Farmington for Actuarial Science.
Seth Price is the son of Amy & Charlie Price, of Embden. Seth will be attending UMF for Health & Physical Education.

Brooks Sousa is the son of Elisa & Kevin Sousa, of Embden. Brooks will be attending Washington County Community College for their Residential Electrician Program.
Ciarrah Whittemore is the daughter of Deron Whittemore, of Solon, and Crystal Whittemore, of Waterville. Ciarrah will be joining the work force.
Myah Williams is the child of Shane Williams, of Anson. Myah will be attending KVCC for Radiologic Technology.
