Jennifer Lund, Maine State Apiarist, is passionate about honeybee health and helping beekeepers succeed. She will answer all these questions and more on Friday, June 29, at the Palermo Community Center. Ms. Lund has a master’s degree in entomology from the University of Maine and almost 20 years experience in the field, with several hives of her own at her farm in Argyle Township.
Join a friendly group of interesting agriculturists for a delicious potluck meal at 6 p.m., with Jennifer’s talk and visuals to follow. This event is free, but donations are highly appreciated for the Food Pantry and the Community Center, which is across from the ball field on Turner Ridge Rd. For info, call Connie at 993-2294.
