McCowan named to Muhlenberg College’s Fall 2018 dean’s list

WINSLOW — Kathleen McCowan, of Winslow, was named to the dean’s list at Muhlenberg College, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, for the fall 2018 semester. To earn this academic achivement, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the term.

Dugal graduates from JMU during December Commencement

SIDNEY — James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, was pleased to graduate more than 930 members of the campus community. Commencement ceremonies took place in December 2018. Included was Chandler Dugal, of Sidney, who earned a degree in History.

Local students named to dean’s list at RIT

OAKLAND/MERCER/ATHENS — The following local residents made the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, New York, for the 2018 fall semester: Ada Phillips, of Oakland, who is in the software engineering program; Kieran McCarthy-O’Flaherty, of Oakland, who is in the computer engineering program; Tory Leo, of Mercer, who is in the computer science program; and Ashley Avery, of Athens, who is in the hospitality and tourism management program.

Roger Williams University announces fall 2018 dean’s list

OAKLAND/WATERVILLE — Select students have been named to the fall 2018 dean’s list at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the dean’s list that semester. Area students include Emma Dehetre, of Oakland, and Michael Oliveira, of Waterville.

Catherine Riley named to dean’s honor list

CHELSEA — Cedarville University student Catherine Riley of Chelsea, majoring in mathematics, was named to the dean’s honor list for fall 2018, in Cedarville, Ohio.
