Petty Officer 1st Class Maegan Findley, a native of Benton, was named 2023 Senior Sailor of the Year for Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Portsmouth, during a ceremony at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, in Virginia, on October 3.
Findley is a graduate of Lawrence High School, in Fairfield. Findley also earned a degree in medical laboratory sciences in 2010 from Thomas Nelson Community College, in Virginia.
Findley joined the Navy 19 years ago.
