MEA scores up from last year in area schools

The Maine Department of Education (DOE) recently released results of Maine Education Assessment (MEA) tests for the 2016-17 school year.  The state tests students in three areas, English language arts/literacy, math and science, with science tests beginning with fifth-graders.The Maine Department of Education (DOE) recently released results of Maine Education Assessment (MEA) tests for the 2016-17 school year.  The state tests students in three areas, English language arts/literacy, math and science, with science tests beginning with fifth-graders.
