JEFFREY O. BICKFORD

FAIRFIELD – Jeffrey Oliver Bickford, 74, passed away at home on Thursday July 28, 2022. He bravely endured pulmonary fibrosis for three years. Jeffrey was born in Waterville, on April 10, 1948, the son of Frederick Hartson Bickford and Maxine Louis (Mushero) Bickford, both of Fairfield.

He was raised in Fairfield, attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Elementary School and Lawrence High School as a member of the class of 1966.

He was an original founder of PHB with his brother Jim Bickford, and Larry Warren, and was later joined by his brother Jon. In his capacity as a builder and carpenter Jeffrey built hundreds of homes in the greater Fairfield area. He later trained as a millwright and worked his way up to superintendent. In that capacity he worked for Cianbro Corp., Pizzagalli Construction, Abbington Constructors and Rust Construction, to name a few. During those years, he traveled across the Northeast and Michigan to service and rebuild essential equipment in the paper mill and other industries. He was well respected and in high demand in his field.

In his youth Jeffrey enjoyed basketball and was a varsity player for Lawrence High School. His athleticism and enthusiasm for the outdoors and engines provided endless hours of enjoyment, including competing in small tractor pulling, stock car racing at Unity Motor Speedway, motorcycle enduro racing (a sport where aged 29 was considered “over-the-hill”). He was considered a “ringer” in golf tournaments dressed in his denim overalls and work boots. His sense of humor and story telling were widely known and admired as two of his best qualities.

Jeff built many houses in his long life, but the home he enjoyed the most was the “down-back” home surrounded by trees, ponds, and wildlife. As a boy he even camped out there and dreamed of a life on this special spot. He particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the ducks and geese in the pond, turtles meandering, the deer raising their young and the garden bearing the gifts from his land. The pond he had built brought hours of enjoyment; even as his health was declining he watched his great-grandchildren Benjamin, MacKinzy, Ry-Ry, Serenity and Sage swim and play. The whole family gathered and picnicked together on the land that meant so much to him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Maxine, his sister-in-law Gail Bickford, his brother-in-law David Weigel, and his brother-in-law Dana J. Slye. The most impactful and tragic was his infant son who lays resting in St. Francis Cemetery, in Waterville.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah Slye-Bickford; his children Holly Marie Demo, Crystal Lee Ann Pressey and her husband Bo, Paula Anne Criss and her partner Nathaniel Cobb; and a daughter from whom he is estranged; his grandchildren, Nicholas “Nick” J. Casey and his wife Deni, Ryan P. Casey and his wife Becky, Kristen Smiley and her husband Brian, Lindsay Batchelder and her husband Evan, Codey Casey, Dylan Huff, Devin Huff, his youngest Katelynn Pressey, and her sister Kelly; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin Smiley, MacKinzy Booker, Ryan Casey, Marlon and Lorelei Batchelder, and Cadence and Graysen Murray; his siblings, Dr. Joseph “Jerry” Bickford, Phyllis Dubois and her husband Stanley, James Bickford and his wife Giselle, Jonathan Bickford, and Theresa Weigel; his sisters in-law, Deanne Slye, Darby Slye and Nancy Hudnall; and brother in-law Dean J. Slye; many nieces and nephews; a cousin Allen Foster and niece Laura Slye and her partner David Erickson; his first wife and mother of his children Marilyn Bickford.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal services. An out-door celebration of life will be held on the grounds of his “down-back” home on Saturday, August 20, 2022, starting at 1 p.m. More details will be posted by Crystal Pressey via social media. His burial will take place at the newly-constructed family plot on the property.

Arrangements are in the care of Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield where memories may be shared, and an online register book signed by visiting http://www.lawrybrothers.com.

ANDREW B. BERRY

WHITEFIELD – Andrew Bunker Berry, 82, of Whitefield, passed peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2022. Andrew was born in Malden, Massachusetts, on September 4, 1939, the son of Katherine Pew and Richard Berry.

He grew up in Cape Elizabeth, graduated from Hebron Academy and went on to earn his bachelor’s in economics at Cornell University.

Andrew was most known throughout Maine and the local community as the long-time owner of Maine Helicopters, Inc., where he worked on many agricultural, tower and construction projects throughout the state. He served on the Board of Pesticides, and locally, the Whitefield Appeals Board. He was also a member of The Whitefield Historical Society.

“Andy” had friends in every corner of Maine. Doors were always open to him for a cup of coffee, a meal, or libation. His quick wit, smile and charm won him many lifelong friends.

It was no secret that Andrew’s greatest passion was pleasure boating on the Maine coast. This passion for being on the water coupled with his love for traditional Maine working boats landed him right in the middle of the lobster community. He not only enjoyed using a lobster boat design for his own boat, but he and his boat of the moment were well known at the Maine Lobster Boat Races. He served on the Lobster Boat Race committee and often was the acting “committee boat”. When his duties as committee boat captain were done, he could be found right in the middle of a raft of race boats and other fans celebrating the weekend’s events.

Once retired, he and his girlfriend Jenn enjoyed a flotilla of other passionate boaters, where they would cross the Bay of Fundy and ultimately rendezvous in St. John, New Brunswick/ Nova Scotia. In later years, Andrew did not sail as far as he used to, but the couple enjoyed quieter times at Long Cove, in Vinalhaven, with other boaters and friends on the island.

Though boating was his main passion, he had many hobbies and favorite places. He enjoyed time spent at the family camp on Eustis Ridge, wintered at Tybee Island and Belize. As for hobbies, he made his own maple syrup, took wood-turning classes, sketched, cooked and liked to throw a good party.

Most memorable were his gatherings with family and a few lucky friends. He loved a good potluck and always enjoyed a glass of homemade liqueur made by his youngest brother Tom. At a certain hour, you could be sure that the furniture would be pushed aside and there would be dancing to his favorite band, “The Chambers Brothers”.

Andrew was predeceased by his parents, and grandson, Connor McLean.

He is survived by his children Jon Berry and wife Jessica Moreau-Berry; Elizabeth Berry MacKenney and husband Scott MacKenney; granddaughter Madeline McLean; siblings Ted Berry and Thomas Berry; and girlfriend Jennifer Paul.

China icon, Jack Sylvester, passes away at age 83

Jack Sylvester

Jack Sylvester, 83, was loved by many and affectionately known as “the Mayor of China.” Every person he met was a friend to be made. He passed away Saturday, July 30, at his China Village home, surrounded by family and certain as ever in his annual conviction that “the Red Sox won’t amount to anything this year.”

John “Jack” Adelbert Sylvester was born on October 13, 1938, in Farmington, Maine, to Hugh Shorey Sylvester and Louise Stratton Sylvester, of Eustis. In 1944, the family moved from Eustis to Albion, where Jack graduated from Besse High School in 1957.

Jack and his wife, Ann, owned and operated China General Store, in China Village, for many years. The store, best known simply as Jack’s, was a gathering place and fixture of the community. Jack loved his career and had countless happy memories of his neighbors stopping by the store for a cup of coffee or a game of cribbage. One of his favorite days of the year was Halloween, when Jack would dress up and hand out chocolate milk and potato chips to all the kids who came to the store.

Jack served his community as a longtime volunteer firefighter, including as chief of the China Village Volunteer Fire Department. He was a longtime member and past master of Central Lodge #45 in China.

Jack made those around him feel like family. He was also a devoted family man. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren beyond measure and never missed a chance to spend time together. He taught them how to hunt, fish, garden, golf, work hard, have fun, be silly, treat everyone with respect, yodel and, most of all, to love and care for each other. He was looking forward to becoming a “wicked great-grandfather” this fall.

Jack is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 57 years, Ann; son, Christopher, and his wife, Jody; daughter, Lori, and her husband, Bob; granddaughter, Amy, and her husband, Alexander; grandson, Nathan, and his wife, Madelyn; and loyal guard dog, Roscoe. He is also survived by his three siblings, Alene Smiley, Betty Shuckrow and Robert Sylvester, as well as many other loved ones and, of course, too many friends to count.

The family so grateful for all the kind words, visits, notes and reminiscences the community has shared with Jack over the past several years. In 2020, after a stint in rehabilitation without visitors due to the pandemic, he was welcomed home with a parade down Main Street, in China Village. He was so touched, and we will never forget that.

All are welcome to join the family for a graveside service to be held Monday, August 15, at 10 a.m., at the China Village Cemetery Extension on the Neck Road. Please come as you are.

In memory of Jack, be kind to each other, sing a song, tell a joke, share a laugh and a hug. His favorite thing was to see others smiling.

In lieu of flowers, please let the family know your favorite memory of Jack or send them a funny joke, maybe one that Jack told you. Please email reminiscences to remembering.jack.sylvester@gmail.com.

For anyone who would like to make a donation in Jack’s memory, please consider donating to China Village Volunteer Fire Department, China Baptist Church or Northern Light Home Care & Hospice.

All are welcome to join the family for a graveside service to be held Monday, August 15, at 10 a.m., at the China Village Cemetery Extension, on the Neck Road. Additional parking will be available at the China Conference Center ballfield. That evening, a gathering will take place at the old store on Main St., in China, from 5 – 7 p.m., with a video presentation. More information is available on the Friends of China Facebook page.

OBITUARIES for Thursday, August 4, 2022

ALLEN R. BRACKETT

Allen Robert Brackett, born on July 14, 1924, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. Allen, the eldest son of Herman and Frances (Allen) Brackett was born in Medford, Massachusetts. Allen was married to Margurite Jones Brackett, daughter of Merle and Doris Jones, lifelong residents of Weeks Mills.

Allen lived a life defined by his curiosity and intellect. He spent much of his youth in Casco. He was a ‘Mainer’ through and through, always humble, polite, hard working, and respectful of others and the environment he enjoyed so much.

He is a World War II veteran, being drafted after graduation from Casco High School. Upon entry, he was tested and spent his first years in service at the University of North Dakota to study engineering. He was always a bit regretful for not immediately going to the front as so many others did. In November 1944, Allen was eventually sent to join the newly-formed 66th Infantry Division headed to England, then Northern France. Five months after Allen’s arrival in Europe, in May 1945, the Germans surrendered and most Allied Forces draftees were sent home. Allen remained stationed in Austria and France, assisting in the peaceful reconstruction of Europe, returning home with an honorable discharge later that year.

Allen took advantage of the GI Bill to attend the University of Maine at Orono, graduating in 1950 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He maintained a love for UMaine’s School of Engineering throughout his life, always following new developments in the news. He donated to the Engineering School after nearly every request.

Allen met his sweetheart, Marguerite Jones, at UMO and they married in 1951. They recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. Allen moved his new family to Kittery to work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in the Engineering Design Division until his retirement in 1979.

Allen was a Past Master of Naval Lodge #184 AF&AM. He was also a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Shriners. His friends and fellow masons invariably commented on his remarkable abilities in ceremony and degree work. He was often called upon to lead or take a part in a ritual around the state of Maine.

The loves of his life, his lovely partner and wife Marguerite, daughter Allane and son Russ, were constant sources of joy. He never missed a chance to listen, help in an endeavor, or educate in complex sciences of engineering or astronomy. If one wanted to understand black holes or the theory of relativity, Allen was the man to talk with.

Allen was predeceased by his youngest brother Weldon.

He is survived by his wife Marguerite; daughter Allane Ball and husband Steve; son Russell Brackett and wife Linda and their extended family; grandsons Benjamin Ball and wife Alison, and Jonathan Ball; great-grandchildren Briana, Elijah, Jacob and Alyssa; great-great-grandchild Graham “Chip” McKinney; brother Malcolm Brackett; sister-in-law Lida; several nieces and a nephew.

Evelyn also worked part-time at the dental office of John Koons. Evelyn finished out her career in the school system as a library aide at George Mitchell School. She then volunteered at the Vassalboro Food Station Pantry. Throughout these years, Evelyn met so many good people, some of whom became lifelong friends.

Her best, and most fulfilling work, was raising her children and helping them in so many ways, as they grew up to adulthood. Evelyn and Jim took their children camping for many years. Evelyn did much of the preparation for these trips, whether long or short: The Maritime Provinces, Ontario, Québec, and The Great Smokey Mountains, and, of course, many Maine trips.

After the children were out of the nest, Ev and Jim made trips to Colorado, Arizona, and California; to the cities of San Francisco, Seattle and New Orleans. They went to the United Kingdom twice. Ev managed a third trip there with her sister Ruth. Evelyn and Jim, with Ruth and Curt, made trips to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, the Gaspé of Québec and Northern Ontario.

Evelyn also enjoyed knitting, rug braiding, wreath making and tending to her many beautiful flower gardens. She was also an avid reader. She was a very practical person, which helped immensely during the early years of raising a family.

Evelyn enjoyed visits to the coast, especially trips to many of the beautiful and historic sites of Maine.

Evelyn was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Ashton.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, James, recently celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary; her son, Jonathan and his son Zach; her daughter, Karen Ashton and husband Michael Sullivan, and her children William, Meghan, Nicholas and Lyndsey; her daughter, Katherine and husband Douglas Houghton, and their daughter, Karly; her daughter, Judith and husband Louis Harle and their children Christopher, Jennifer and Colin; and her daughter, Paula Ashton and husband John Lewandowski and their children Ruth and Walter; as well as great-grandchildren, Will and Oscar.

A memorial service will held on Saturday, August 20, at 2 p.m., at the family home, in North Vassalboro.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Vassalboro Food Station Pantry, 20 Ferland Lane, Vassalboro, ME 04989 or Vassalboro Public Library, P.O. Box 62, East Vassalboro, ME 04935.

JENNIFER L. MORROW

WHITEFIELD – Jennifer Lynn Wilson Morrow, 38, wife to Ryan and mother to Blake and Keegan, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. She was born in Augusta on October 15, 1983.

Jenn was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer after the birth of her second child. Despite the challenges she faced with this diagnosis, she was always positive and optimistic. She fought bravely to just have one more day with her family. #stage4needsmore was not only found on every social media post of her journey, but also her mission to spread awareness in hopes to help others in the future. In October 2019, Jenn had the privilege of being the Grand Marshal for the Walk for Hope, where she proudly wore the banner that supports all the work the Alfond Center provides to cancer patients.

Jenn grew up in Chelsea attending Chelsea School and graduating from Cony High School, in Augusta, in 2002. This is where she met lifelong friends “the Goldies”; Dostie, Angela, Sarah and Katie. They were with Jenn in her final days providing care and reflecting on precious times together. Many fond memories which always had lots of laughter, including a trip to Acadia and frequent breakfast dates, where Jenn would always say “Just take the damn picture”. Jenn had a very special bond with dear friend, Beth Sproul-LeBrun after many years working together. Beth was there to help Jenn have a peaceful journey and fulfilled the promise of all Jenn’s final wishes. The family will forever be grateful for the kindness and care Beth helped provide during these difficult days.

Jenn graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She loved her role as “Ms. Jenn” working with the children from SKCDC – most recently Lake Region Center, City of Augusta Childcare Kindercamp and her involvement with Whitefield Elementary School. Jenn was a gifted teacher who truly was built for the teaching profession, as she helped shape hundreds of children educationally and was a role model to many. Jenn had a special place in her heart for many co-workers, who also became dear friends.

Family was everything to Jenn and even though Rose was her mother, they were also best friends, spending as much time together as they could and loving deeply as each day passed. Weekends spent with her mom and sister, Amanda, were also a favorite – especially the trips to Dunkin’ or Starbucks along with Target and TJMaxx adventures together. Rose and Amanda were by Jenn’s side nonstop as she slowly faded from us, reminding her how amazing she was. Although Amanda was her older sister, Jenn provided constant guidance and reassurance to Amanda and was her number one supporter during the journey of motherhood and life. A bond between sisters that was so strong and will be missed immensely. Jenn loved watching her father, Cliff, be the best Papa to her boys and cherished the bond that they share.

Jenn tragically lost her brother, Joshua Wilson, in a car accident in 2007. She reminded her boys that Uncle Josh was watching over them and she would soon be with Uncle Josh to watch over all of us.

Jenn leaves behind her husband, Ryan, who she loved with all her heart. In August 2010 she wed Ryan at Saddleback Mountain, in Rangeley, and soon grew their beautifully family together with their sons and black labs, Owen and Max. She is forever grateful to Ryan for making her a wife and mother. Ryan taught her how a person should be loved as he never left her side during her battle with cancer. Ryan spent the final days holding her, loving on her and ensuring her final moments were filled with laughter and love.

Jenn’s legacy lives on within her two sons, Blake (11) and Keegan (3). Family time sharing laughs over dinner, daily walks with the boys, disc golfing or time spent “upta camp” with “her boys” were such cherished moments for her. Jenn was the most patient and supportive Mumma to her sons and told them constantly “Love you to the Moon and Back a million times, Buddy”. Blake helped care for his mother at home her final week, bringing her favorite dill pickles, Dostie’s cookies and reminding his Mom how much she was loved.

Surviving Jennifer also are her parents, Cliff and Rose Wilson, of Chelsea; sister, Amanda Wilson-Gray and brother-in-law, Justin Gray, of Gray; a nephew, Kai Gray; her paternal grandmother, Jane Wilson, of Augusta; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 983 Ridge Rd., Windsor, ME 04363. Condolences, stories or photos may be shared by visiting http://www.plummerfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations sent to Camden National Bank, 66 Eastern Ave., Augusta, ME 04330 in support of her two sons, Blake and Keegan Morrow.

During these excursions, he accumulated thousands of photos and negatives which he would sell to train enthusiasts and railroad magazines and authors seeking photos for the publication of their railroad books. David’s passion culminated in his co-authoring of the book New England Diesels with his good friend George F. Melvin in 1975.

On one of his photo excursions to New Hampshire, David met Dwight Smith, the new owner of the North Conway Scenic Railroad. They became fast friends and David volunteered his service to the organization for three decades, often acting as conductor for the train. David was a kind and loyal brother who will be sadly missed for his sense of humor and uncanny knowledge of classic movies and all things history.

David was predeceased by his father, Warren and his mother, Jennie.

David is survived by his brother, Richard and wife Lori, of Palermo; and sisters Sandra Roy, of Fairfield Center, and Nancy Shattuck, of Jasper, Florida; nephew, Derek Albert, of South Portland; and two nieces, Katie Roy, of Cornville, and Jessica Roy, of Skowhegan.

MARY ANNE SPRAGUE

WINDSOR – Mary Anne Sprague, 80, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. She was born born May 11, 1942.

She was a 1960 graduate of Morse High School, in Bath. As a Bath native, Mary Anne loved sharing stories about the area in “the old days” and often regaled her family with tales of local legends and childhood adventures.

She took great pride in her children and grandchildren and often remarked that her kids were her “whole life”. She loved to host family gatherings (creating core memories for all of us with pool parties in the ’90s that lasted all day and late into the night) and enjoyed family road trips to magical places like Walt Disney World, in Florida, and Area 51, in Nevada.

She took great pleasure in the little things in life — a good cup of Sanka every morning with her toast, skunking her husband at cribbage, eating rock crabs, and making fudge and potato salad for her grandson, David, with whom she always shared an especially deep connection.

She also loved thinking about and talking about life’s great mysteries, and one of her favorite things to do was to stay up late debating religion and philosophy with her son. She was famous for her long phone calls that often hit the three hour mark and always covered a wide range of unexpected topics – their absence is already very deeply felt. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Stephen Sprague; her three children, Kerri Hanscom, Tedd Sprague, and Lynda Wylde; three grandchildren, Paul Cole Jr., Heather Arsenault, and David Arsenault; and numerous great-grandchildren; her brother, David Snowdon and his wife, Trudy.

At her request there will be no funeral, and burial services will be private for immediate family.

BRUCE A. RODERICK

FAIRFIELD – Bruce A. Roderick, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 3, 2022. He was born on December 21, 1961, in Augusta, to Wallace “Wally” and Blanche Roderick, of Fairfield.

Bruce spent his life in Fairfield, graduating from Lawrence High School in 1980. He went on to attend the University of Maine at Orono, and while there, married his junior high school sweetheart Trishia “Richardson” Roderick in 1984. They would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this August.

Bruce and Trish enjoyed traveling together and were working their way toward visiting each state in the US. While at home they enjoyed spoiling their two dogs with trips to the lake, belly rubs, endless treats and lots of love.

He built his life around their four children; Justin, Kayla, Zachary, and Kori. He was the most amazing dad. He was the loudest cheerleader, the biggest fan, fiercest protector and was unwaveringly proud of his children. His greatest joy was being Papa to his eight grandchildren; Owen, Mason and Kendall Roderick, children of Justin and Elizabeth Roderick; Harper Roderick-Cloutier, child of Kayla Roderick; Olivia and Avery Roderick, children of Zachary and Bryanna Roderick; and Briley and Lennon Whited, children of Kori and Zachary Whited. Bruce’s biggest priority was planning and orchestrating family trips, events, parties, gathering’s at “Camp Chaos” and more, to create memories with those he loved the most.

Bruce chose a career in sales which was perfect for his competitive nature, outgoing personality, and desire to connect with others. He began his career at Selection Video before moving on to RJ Reynolds. Eventually he moved on to Swedish Match North America where he enjoyed 19 years leading his team as Key Account Manager. In those years he built many lasting connections and friendships, both within the company and throughout his market. What Bruce enjoyed most about his job was the people. He was a born leader and true mentor to many of his colleagues, as he was in many other aspects of his life.

One of Bruce’s strongest passions was serving his community, whether it be helping a neighbor, volunteering his time, offering advice, or even just giving a big Bruce bear hug. Above all stood Bruce’s extraordinary commitment to the Fairfield PAL Program. His mission was to continue the legacy built by the founders and those who served before him. Bruce started as a participant in Fairfield PAL, later coaching his own children within the program. He eventually became director of the football program, before moving on to become a member of the PAL board and ultimately president of the board of directors. Through it all, his main mission was to ensure that every child, regardless of circumstance, could have a safe, fun, and equally fulfilling experience in any activity they chose.

In addition to the aforementioned immediate family, Bruce is survived by an uncle, Bill Silsby, in-laws, nieces, nephews, several cousins, and countless close friends that were really more like family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 1 p.m., at Bill Donahue field in the Richard McGee Athletic Complex, 92 Western Ave, Fairfield. In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will be held at Lawrence Junior High School Gymnasium. There is no formal dress code. HENRY J. VEILLEUX

THE VILLAGES, Florida – Henry Joseph Veilleux (“Hank”) was born to the late Ernest and Bernadette Veilleux in Waterville, on December 22, 1940. He was an early Christmas present to an eager mom and dad.

Most of Henry’s working life was spent immersed in the blessings and challenges serving as school principal in Wilton, a town he loved both for its tightknit community, as well as its hidden gem, Wilson Lake Country Club, which he frequented in the warmer months of the year. In the colder months, Henry could be found on neighboring Wilson Lake, typically with a sack full of ice fishing traps, bait and a baloney sandwich, and he never returned home empty-handed.

If you asked a hundred people who Henry Veilleux was, they’d all give you a different story. A golf shark to those at Wilson Lake. A superhero to the kids at Wilton Academy. The hardest working man in the world to his co-workers. A mastermind head coach to the Wilton Cubs little league team, which during Henry’s reign frequented the local little league world series. A master sailor. And a loving father and grandfather to his children and grandkids.

Henry was also a storyteller, and it’s no surprise that he featured as the hero of most of his tales. Whether it was the whimsical five-iron into #2 at Wilson Lake from the back tees, the eight-pound salmon caught on a regular trip down the West Branch of the Penobscot River, or the rogue bear that attacked camp while Henry and his good friend Roland were sleeping, the stories were as fantastic as he was – colorful, vibrant, and full of life.

Henry had time to consider his obituary. In his final memo to those that knew him, he asked that you remember this last message: “keep telling stories. It is our stories that connect us and unite us, and it is through our stories that we can change the world.”

Henry is survived by his son Jeremy Veilleux; his daughters Jocelin Snow and Jenny Veilleux; his grandsons Brandon and Ryan Veilleux; his brother Roger Veilleux; his sisters Corinne Whitney and Elaine Hoag; all respective spouses and families. A celebration of Henry’s life will be held for close family in Waterville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Heart Association in memory of Henry.
