McGlauflin named to Emerson College dean’s list

Paige McGlauflin, a resident of Sidney, has been named to the Emerson College dean’s list for the Fall 2018 semester, in Boston, Massachusetts. McGlauflin, who is majoring in Journalism, is a member of the class of 2019. The requirement to make Emerson’s Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Local students named to Colby-Sawyer College dean’s list

Colby-Sawyer College, in New London, New Hampshire, recognizes 234 students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2019 spring semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Local students named to fall dean’s list at Stonehill College

EASTON, MA (01/16/2019) — Two local students have been named to the dean’s list at Stonehill College, in Easton, Massachusetts. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

The students are Justin Davis, of Palermo, class of 2019, and Makenzie Charest, of Sidney, class of 2022.

Poulin earns Eagle status

On Saturday, December 1, State Senator Matthew Pouliot (R-Kennebec) and Representative Mike Perkins (R-Oakland) attended an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Dawson Poulin, of Sidney, and presented him with a Legislative Sentiment. A member of Boy Scout Troop #401, Dawson has attained the rank and distinction of Eagle Scout, the highest award in Boy Scouting which is given for excellence in skills development, leadership, personal growth and community service.

Kenan Estes named to dean’s list at Cedarville Univ.

Cedarville University student Kenan Estes, of Sidney, achieved the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester, in Cedarville, Ohio. Estes maintained a 3.5 GPA while taking at least 12 credit hours from Cedarville University.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute announces fall 2017 dean’s list

The following local residents were among 1,608 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), in Worcester Massachusetts, named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2017 semester.

Madison Michaud, of Vassalboro, is a member of the class of 2019 majoring in biomedical engineering.

Molly Silsby, of Augusta, is a member of the class of 2021 majoring in mechanical engineering.
